How many laser sessions to remove a tattoo?

I am going to be honest but in most cases its quite hard to estimate how many sessions a client will need to fade or fully remove a tattoo.

Every tattoo is different, therefore its hard to put an exact number of sessions each client will need, we need to consider many different factors, such as the size of the tattoo, the position on the body can effect how quick the body breaks down the ink (tattoos on fingers, hands and feet in most cases will take longer than if a tattoo is on the chest) how old the tattoo is, what ink has been used, coloured tattoos, if its a cover up, if you have had the tattoo touched up. All these factors need to be considered.

I have been removing tattoos at Faded Ink for the past 6 years and in most cases to fade a small/medium tattoo you could be looking at 4 to 6 sessions approx and to fully remove you could be looking at 6 to 9 sessions approx but everyone is different.
